Fire Ball Half and 4 Mile
Event Description
Due to popular demand, we are bringing back the half-marathon and 4 mile distances to our favorite canyon!! Both races will start at Mack Dick Pavilion in Palo Duro Canyon State Park. You will run a variety of trails from smooth single track, to sand, rock, and short but steep technical ascents and descents. The 4 mile is a loop on the Comanche/Kiowa trails. The half-marathon will go further into the canyon where you will see red rock walls, bluffs and cottonwood trees by a stream.
This is a cupless race and you are required to carry your own hydration system.
Aid stations will provide a variety of sweet and salty snacks, Coke, Gingerale and our electrolyte drink mix is Hyperlyte Liquid Performance.

Saturday August 23rd
6:00 am Packet Pickup at start/finish area in the parking lot of Mack Dick Pavillon
7:00 am Half-marathon Start
7:30 am 4 Mile Start

Half-Marathon- $95 now through June 30. $115 after June 30.
4 Mile- $40 now through June 30. $55 after June 30.
*Please be aware, we do not offer refunds or rollovers, but you may transfer to another participant up until the day before the race. And, you must register by August 17 to be guaranteed a shirt. Online registration closes Thursday August 21 at 11:59 pm. You can still register at Packet Pickup Friday August 22 at Get Fit 4:30-5:30 pm. No race day registration!
